Getting rid of those Split Ends!

Hello!

Hair problems affect every woman but no problem is more common than split ends. Whether the hair is long or short, greasy or dry, split ends may occur in any quality or length of hair. However, it is more common among women who have long tresses which are dry. Contrary to the popular belief, a hair cut or trimming of the hair ends is not the only solution to bid goodbye to split hair ends. Let us take a look at some home remedies and medicated ways to get rid of split ends.

How to Get Rid of Split Ends Naturally
  • Head Massage – Massaging the head stimulates circulation of blood in the scalp. Proper blood circulation gives shine and strength to hair by reducing split ends. While massaging, always use a combination of coconut oil, almond oil and olive oil mixture in equal proportions. The oil must be heated before it is applied on the scalp.

  • Natural Hair Pack – Prepare a hair pack at home using one ripe banana, two tablespoons of curd and a little rosewater and fresh lemon juice. Apply this on the head starting from the scalp to the end of the hair. The pack must be left on the hair for at least an hour before wash.

  • You can prepare an alternate hair pack using one egg, one tablespoon of honey and half a cup of milk. Apply the paste on your hair in the same way as mentioned above. Leave on for twenty minutes before washing off with normal water.

  • Massaging the hair with mayonnaise for five minutes once a week or spraying the hair with beer after it has been washed are quick natural remedies to get rid of split ends.
