Tips to applying the perfext lip liner :
- One should choose the lip liner that is either neutral or matching to the shade of the lipstick you want to apply. Always use a lip liner that is an exact shade, or a shade or two darker than your lipstick. However, stick with the same color tone.
- Always avoid using lip liner that is too much darker than the shade of your lipstick. This lip liner application will looks odd because after sometime when the lipstick fades away and the lip liner does not, you are left with just an outline on your lips.
- To begin lip liner application, one should start drawing a thin line from the center of your upper lip and gradually work outward to each outer corner. You can do lip liner application following your natural lip line or in the way you want them to appear.
- To make the lip liner application more well-defined and sharp, chill the lip liner pencil in the refrigerator for few minutes.
Now apply lipstick and coat your lips evenly. Pay special attention to staying within the edges you have drawn with your lip liner.
